ASP Philippines was formed in 2003 as a result of a merger between 2 smaller software Companies. Based in Makati, Manila, with about 40 staff, ASP has two main business divisions – Development and PSO (Professional Services). Within these 2 main areas ASP has another two sub-divisions Offshore and Onshore. ASP has a focus area around Applications Software for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain area with ERP, Warehousing, Transport Management and Plant Maintenance. ASP staff have combined many years of experience around these listed areas. Recently ASP has moved into Hospital Systems also. Technology used has traditionally been based on Microsoft SQL .Net and some PROGRESS skills. More recently ASP has started a division using Open Source and Java. In recent months, ASP has had Philippine staff on contract in the USA, Egypt, Dubai, the UK and China.
